Accounts and limits

Use several Claude and Codex accounts and let Ghostex balance them.

If you have more than one Claude or Codex account, Ghostex can keep them all signed in and switch between them for you.

Add your accounts

Open Settings > Accounts and add each login. Mark an account Automatic to let Ghostex choose it for new sessions, or Manual to use it only when you pick it.

Which account a new session uses

By default, Ghostex picks the account with the most room before its limits reset. You can change this rule in Settings > Accounts (for example, always the account with the most limit left), or pick an account yourself when you start a session: in the New Thread picker (Cmd+N), press Tab on Claude or Codex.

When an account runs out

Ghostex can move a session that hits its usage limit to another account and carry on by itself. The conversation stays in the same tab; only the account changes. Choose what happens in Settings > Accounts, under When the account runs out. You can also switch by hand from the chat’s ⋯ > Switch Account menu.

See your usage

Star accounts in Settings to show their usage meters at the bottom of the sidebar. Hover the chart button next to the Settings gear to see them, and click a meter for the full picture: limits, reset times, and your recent token use.

Turn on Hide emails in Settings > Accounts before sharing your screen.
