Notifications

Know when an agent is done or needs you, without watching it.

Ghostex tells you when an agent finishes or needs your answer:

• A sound plays when an agent finishes.
• The session’s dot in the sidebar turns blue when it’s done and pink when it’s waiting for you.
• Your computer shows a system notification, and the menu bar shows how many agents are working and done (macOS).
• Your phone gets a push notification if you’ve paired it.

The bell

The bell in the sidebar’s top row lists what each agent last did, newest first. Click a row to jump to that session.

Scripts can post to the bell too, with ghostex notify --title "Build finished".

Change the sound

Pick a different completion sound, or turn it off, in the Notifications section of Settings (Cmd+,).
